Jumat, 10 April 2026 kegiatan esktrakurikuler pramuka mengadakan kegiatan pelantikan Bantara untuk kelas X. Mengusung tema Bakti Lingkungan dengan judul “Reboisasi dan Penanaman Keanekaragaman Hayati Di Lingkungan Sekolah diharapkan dapat menjaga kelestarian alam. SMA Negeri 1 Margasari berupaya untuk terus menggalakan akan pentingnya kesadaran pelestarian tersebut.
Lewat gerakan Bakti Lingkungan ini, sebagai upaya dari kegiatan tersebut sekolah berkerja sama dengan Dinas Kehutanan terkait dalam upaya pemberian bibit pohon yang akan ditanam di lingkungan sekolah dan area sekitar sekolah. Sebanyak 70 bibit pohon diantaranya bibit pohon beringin, pohon ketapang, pohon durian, pohon alpukat, pohon nangka, pohon jambu jamaika, pohon asam dan masih banyak jenis lainnya siap ditanam di lingkungan SMA Negeri 1 Margasari.
Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengedukasi para siswa akan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan serta memberikan kontribusi positif bagi ekosistem sekolah. Dalam kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh Penyuluh Kehutanan Kecamatan Margasari, Kelompok Tani Desa Pakulaut, Komite SMA Negeri 1 Margasari dan tentunya didampingi oleh Bapak dan Ibu Guru staff karyawan Tata Usaha SMA Negeri 1 Margasari dan para siswa.
Penanaman pohon di lingkungan sekolah tidak hanya memberikan manfaat langsung dalam hal peningkatan udara bersih dan penyerapan karbondioksida, tetapi dapat pula menciptakan lingkungan hijau nan asri bagi seluruh warga SMA Negeri 1 Margasari.
Selain itu, para siswa dapat belajar tentang kerjasama tim dan memiliki rasa tanggung jawab yang besar untuk menumbuhkan rasa empati terhadap kelestarian alam dan keanekaragaman hayati dan menjadikan generasi muda yang peduli akan lingkungan.
Kegiatan penananman oleh siswa ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah kecil namun berarti dalam upaya menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan.semoga kegiatan Bakti Lingkungan ini turut serta menjadi inspirasi bagi sekolah lain dalam menciptakan lingkungan alam yang lestari demi masa depan hijau yang berkelanjutan.
