Dalam memperingati hari Kartini rasanya tidak cukup hanya dengan mengadakan karnaval, perlombaan memasak, perlombaan memakai pakaian kebaya dan berdandan seperti beliau. Tetapi kita dapat mengambil hikmah pelajaran yang relevan dengan masa sekarang. Cukup banyak hikmah yang beliau wariskan dan dapat kita jadikan inspirasi dalam kehidupan saat sekarang ini. Tetapi dalam tulisan ini hanya akan difokuskan pada warisan beliau dalam bidang pendidikan. berharap mampu memotivasi para pelajar dimasa sekarang.

Selain itu para pelajar juga dituntut untuk belajar mandiri. Hendaknya kita mencontoh kemandirian serta semangat Kartini dalam belajar.
